Mermaid Paradise - Won!

Well our 10 year anniversary grand prize winner ended up having her son Hayden 3 weeks early! Even with that wonderful event happening early she still had time to email us and to send us some wonderful pictures!
Here is what Laura has to say about decorating her daughter's room in Olive Kids Mermaid design!

Hi there, Great timing! We finished redoing Taylor's room this past weekend and I will send you pictures by this Friday.

It turned out great!! Originially her room had two pink walls and two mint green walls. We kept the pink and then painted the mint green walls with an awesome turquiose color (one of the coordinating colors that was recommended). She is so proud of her big girl room.
The quality of the products are fantastic! And the colors in the Mermaid pattern are even better in person than online.

Hi Kim, Again I am so sorry for the delay in getting these photos to you. Hopefully these are what you were you looking for. As you can see in the photos we painted two walls with pink and two with turquoise. It looks awesome! Taylor loves her room!

I can not express to you how excited Laura was when she found out she won the grand prize of an Olive Kids Room. It turns out that Laura was expecting her next child and they had just started decorating the nursery for the arrival of their first son. Blessings Abound

I met Jacqueline the mom behind Blessing Abound on Twitter. She is a wonderful mom to 4 children, whom she home schools in Alaska. On her blog it says "from the land of the midnight sun", It must be an amazing thing to see the sun at midnight although I can't sleep unless it is pitch black. Can you imagine having 4 kids and the sun out at midnight! She is an amazing women and after reading her blog it became apparent to me that Olive Kids was a perfect fit for her readers.

I had the chance to personalize a wall clock for one of my kids and I was thrilled to pick out the Patchwork Ponies Clock for my oldest daughter, Elizabeth. She couldn't wait for us to hang it up and display it in her room. We have been teaching her how to tell time and she has been more focused now than ever to learn how to tell time correctly. "Inspiring my children to be creative and use their imaginations is a daily routine for my family. We love to play outside, visit the library and even enjoy a play or ballet every once in a while. Make your Kids Valentines Day extra special

We all know that Valentines day is the most fun when you are a kid. You and your mom go to the store and purchase your favorite Valentines day cards to give to the kids in your class. Then you have to decide which on to give to each class member - you don't want to give the wrong card. Heaven forbid you give a card to a boy that makes him think you "like like" him when you really don't like him at all but your mom is making you give him one. (Or maybe that was just me :)
