The thousand words for this picture are all the same word - Adorable! As you all know we host a contest each month with great prizes to be won! When I send the emails announcing the winners, I look forward to reading the responses - they always make me smile. But what I love the most is when one of our winners send me photographs of the prize with the kid that is enjoying it!

"We did received the pillow about a couple of weeks ago. My daughter just loves it. She is only 4 months old so right now she is using it for tummy time. The fabric is so soft it doesn't irritate her delicate skin. I have attached 2 photos to show how my my daughter props herself up on the pillow. I'm sure once she is older she will enjoy the pillow as much as she does now. Thank you so much for the wonderful personalized gift."

Kyle is a BIG Olive Kids Fan (& so are his parents)

We love when families fall in love with Olive Kids designs and share their excitement with us! Kyle is a very lucky boy because he parents went all out when decorating his room with Olive Kids Under Construction bedding and room decor.This is what his parents wrote to us! "This is my son, Kyle's new room. He is almost 2 years old and he got very excited when he saw his new room for the first time. The Under Construction theme is awesome. He absolutely loves his new bed that I made and the construction equipment murals. The bedding looks awesome in this room." Don't you agree they did an amazing job!

An Out of This World Room design!

Rachell was one of the winners in our our January contest! When I contacted her to let her know she won the personalized holiday pack of Olive Kids placemats - she was very excited. This is what she had to say "WOW!!! Thank you so much! This is so exciting!!! My son loves his new room completely decorated with your 'Out of This World' theme! Btw, I did cast my vote for OK! You guys are the best!"

I did ask her if she would like to share some pictures of her son's room and she said yes! When I saw them I was just as excited as she was when she won! WE love seeing how parents create that special place for their kids with Olive Kids!

Baby's first bed as told by Lotus

At Olive Kids we talk a lot about how important the transition is from the crib to a child's first big kids bed. Everyone has a different approach, some parent move their kids into a toddler bed and then into a larger size bed. Believe it of not a large number of kids skip the toddler/twin bed and go right to the larger size. At Olive Kids we wanted to be sure that we had all options for parents and that's why we carry all of our designs in toddler, twin, full and queen.

Olive Kids! Do You?
Towards the end of last year, John and I decided that it was time to move Braden from his crib to a toddler bed. Is it just me or is the room spinning a bit? Why is my chest so tight? Oh yeah, that’s that thing that happens when I’m reminded of HOW MUCH MY KID IS GROWING UP. *sniff* We found the perfect little bed.

We really wanted to graduate him from the nursery sheets he was using too, and found some absolutely wonderful toddler bedsets at Olive Kids. In fact, Olive Kids carries all kinds of colorful and fun kids designs for all purposes. Many things can be personalized, and they are all incredibly cute and fun. I decided to let John make the final decision on the bedset design (and if you know anything about my control issues, you will know this is a big deal) and even though I really wanted the Wild Animals Set but John chose Trains, Planes and Trucks


And you know what? He CHOSE WELL. Braden loves it - he exclaims over the “Pwanes!” and “Twucks!” and “Twains!” And it is really adorable.

It’s made with bright, happy colors, and the material seems strong, yet nice and comfy. And he adjusted to his new bed, pillow, and bedset MUCH faster than I wanted him to had expected him to. I blame credit the soft sheets and warm, cuddly comforter.
