Olive Kids helps a make a wish come true!

Esteban relaxes on his new bed!

Esteban Zubiran a 5 year old boy who is fighting cancer wants to grow up to be a firefighter and his wish was to have a firehouse bedroom. Carlos Inostroza a make-a-wish volunteer contacted us to see if we could donate product to help his wish come true! Anita and Russell owners of Olive Kids told Carlos to put a list together of what they wanted and it would be sent to them free of charge!

Esteban shares a room with is older brother so our heroes comforter and sheet sets were a must for the bunk beds, along with shams and plush pillows. To complete the room the firefighters cut down an actual fire truck to be part of Esteban's room and we also sent along a personalized Heroes clock and framed print with the brothers names on them, a rug, window sets, wall paper cut outs and a growth chart. The best news from this story as told by his mother is that Esteban is in full remission!!!

Comments from Carlos regarding Esteban's room.
I must tell you this was such a great wish because it brought all the community together (including you guys) we had so much help and a lot of people showed up including all the neighbors who did not even know this family, they all wanted to see the work, also the parents of the kid were so appreciative. And specially Esteban was so happy and played all afternoon in his room with his brother and friends.

We could not have done this without your help.

Regards

Carlos Inostroza
