Olive Kids Invited Boom Boom Room update

don't know if you remember my October Post about being invited to this exclusive event in Los Angeles... it continues here!

Well I was starting to worry! Were we truly invited? Being so far away (over 6000 miles) and with little or no communication it can get worrisome! Should I book the tickets? Reserve the hotel room? When we launched our new personalized name tags, I sent a quick email to Kailani to see if she would be interested in reviewing it for us! MY METRO MAMA Loves...

Why: I’ve held on to my favorite Sesame Street bedding from my childhood, and I take it out every so often to reminisce about the good old days. When we got the Trains, Planes and Trucks bedding from Olive Kids for my kiddo, that look on his face told me that this would be his “Sesame Street.”

I wouldn’t say the set is particularly hip or trendy, but that’s just fine with my kid. The leaves are turning bright yellows, reds and oranges which means little kids everywhere are trying to make up their mind what they want to be for Halloween! Putting together a cool kids room proved harder than I'd ever imagined. Sticking with my normal sense of modern design would mean taking out a second mortgage on my house and going chain-store style leaves you with characters (ack!) or plain-jane options. Thankfully, there are places like Olive Kids that offer kiddie-centric decor that won't break the bank or clash too much with your sense of style.
