Olive Kids arrives in LA! For the Boom Boom Room

We left at 3:00 am (EST) and we arrived in LA at about 11:00 am (which is 2 pm EST). I was thankful that I had lived in the Los Angeles area for 10 years, because those freeways are crazy! By the time we got the rental car, put all of our stuff in the trunk and drove to the Century Plaza Hotel in Beverly Hills it was about 1:30 LA time.

Oh, I forgot to tell you who my travel companion is; his name is Steve and he is the Art Director at Olive Kids! He is going to help set up and take pictures of all of the celebrities. The funny thing was, not only do we come from a very small town, Steve had never flown on a plane before. So not only was he going to be on a plane for the first time, it is one of the longest flights and we were going to the very big city of Los Angeles! He flew on the plane like he was a seasoned traveler; however when he got out of the airport he said, “How can anyone live here, it smells terrible!" Nothing like country air! He has driven in New Jersey so he was perfect to get behind the wheel in LA.

The hotel is beautiful, but no one knew where we should put our products we brought with us; where the room was that would be hosting the event. We finally found a great bell man who helped us with our stuff. Then Steve went to his room on the 9th floor and mine was on the 11th. What a hotel! We set up tonight!
